"Blogness on the Edge of Town" is a blog devoted to the work of one Mr. Bruce Springsteen. I should start off by saying that I’m not a music critic, although I have been known to criticize music occasionally.What I am is a journalist, humor columnist and longtime Springsteen fan (I’d say about a quarter of a century) who, despite being a whole lot more middle aged than I was when I first put “Born in the U.S.A.” or “The River” down on my turntable, still feels like Bruce has something -- OK, a lot of things -- to say about our country and the way we live our lives, things that not a lot of other artists are saying.
